If there is any poet I know who is a go-getter, it is squarely I.M Saani. He gave us the spoken word Go For It, He is going for it.
This will be the fourth release of his annual poetry series starting from 2017 on Audiomack.
The organizer of the program, Shaikh Abdul-Nasir Alhassan Maiga, has himself participated in such slams while studying in Saudi Arabia. And has enviable laurels under his belt.
I wonder if success is far or nigh

with those who only help me lag behind.
Poetry: One voice I learn is one too many, but one silence I learn is one too loud.
Your money Dey inside pocket
You put it inside wallet
My money it spread for market
I put it under my bellet(belt)
For a tasty man to survive he might jump into the oasis well, But the onlooker stodged with food may take him to be a fool.
Troubles may come from everywhere unimaginable, they never will without the will of he who will console.
The night, a perfect time to love; yet, a perfect time to strive. Such a commotion.
The breezes of nights are my hope.
The moonlight and the star-shine are my dreams.
I call on the electoral commission to ensure a seamless election exercise, aspirants to enable peace to reign, and supporters of the various aspirants to accept that this is an election to unite us yet again and not divide us.
I hesitate to sing praises on leaders who do the needful. But I can’t defeat the temptation to announce my excitement about the wonder I saw of Naadu and team.
The theme of this poem is love. In very simple terms, it extols a woman, her beauty and virtues.
