Wishing aspirants well in our JCR elections tomorrow

I call on the electoral commission to ensure a seamless election exercise, aspirants to enable peace to reign, and supporters of the various aspirants to accept that this is an election to unite us yet again and not divide us.

It is time, once again, for the mantles of leadership to change hands and for us to chart a newer course together. As we go to the polls tomorrow to elect a new crop of people to man (or woman) our affairs within hall and represent us externally, I extend my well wishes to all aspirants in the race. It has been a daunting task coming, one full of anxiety and hope. There is only one more hurdle on your way—the election. Whatever the results may be, we are proud of you for showing up to serve the hall.

I call on the EC to ensure a seamless election exercise, aspirants to make peace reign, and supporters of the various aspirants to accept that this is an election to unite us yet agaain, not divide us. The Pent course requires all hands to be on deck.

I wish, again, all aspirants the best in this election. May the best set of candidates emerge the winners to champion the Pent course.

JCR Executive Aspirants in the order of appearance on the ballot.

Letter to Paradise

The theme of this poem is love. In very simple terms, it extols a woman, her beauty and virtues.
