You are about to see a video of my performance at the 2020 edition of the Daadin Baaki Poetry Show, held on the University of Ghana campus. The poem I performed is titled ‘This Is Zongo.” In it, I talk about the actual Zongo that we hardly hear of – the noble stories of Zongo that get overweighed by the ignoble and untrue ones. You’ll have a feel of what it is like to be in a Zongo after listening to the entire poem.

I call on the electoral commission to ensure a seamless election exercise, aspirants to enable peace to reign, and supporters of the various aspirants to accept that this is an election to unite us yet again and not divide us.
I hesitate to sing praises on leaders who do the needful. But I can’t defeat the temptation to announce my excitement about the wonder I saw of Naadu and team.
The theme of this poem is love. In very simple terms, it extols a woman, her beauty and virtues.
