This piece of work is the third edition of my Friday Poetry Series. In it, I celebrate the pioneers who went unnoticed and the heroes who wore no capes. It appreciates the fact that the prices of our advancements today have all been paid by those who came before us In all spears of life.

I call on the electoral commission to ensure a seamless election exercise, aspirants to enable peace to reign, and supporters of the various aspirants to accept that this is an election to unite us yet again and not divide us.
I hesitate to sing praises on leaders who do the needful. But I can’t defeat the temptation to announce my excitement about the wonder I saw of Naadu and team.
The theme of this poem is love. In very simple terms, it extols a woman, her beauty and virtues.
