Pobee Mwintombo, The Africana, touted as Africa’s Soul Poet, has released a new spoken word, Keep Hope Alive, featuring a Dutch singer, Maaike.

Clad in his usual African regalia, The Africana performed the spoken word in the usual African setting he shoots his poetry performances. Mwintombo highlighted in the poem, the need for one to not give up no matter the difficulties they are in, the hiccups they see ahead of them, or the mistakes they make in life.

Maaike equally makes an appearance in the video in a western setting as she sings the refrain of the spoken word.

Now doubt, it is a powerful collaborative work.
