‘Depression’ – Abul Himma & Nurah The Poet

Performed by Nurah The Poet and Abul Himma, this poem is a poem about regrets. It is a spoken word telling of what we should do as individuals when the people around us go through pain. It talks about the mental struggles folks go through while no one pays attention. It basically talks about how we should look out for the next person, we barely know who is depressed within the smile they wear, and who is suicidal. Maybe our being there will be their life support against death by depression. It also encourages people to open up about their mental ailments.
