Buried

“Buried” – Abul Himma & Lams Ahmed

This is indeed a poignant reminder.

A word of caution. This is indeed a spoken word of caution. Abul Himma and Lams Ahmed send a thought-provoking reminder in their new duet poetry performance, Buried. They talk about the pleasure that seems to be there for humans to have in a fleeting space of time. The poem transitions from our lives on earth to how death gradually catches up with us. And sends us to where we go to render accounts of the gift of life given us by Almighty. This is indeed a poignant reminder.

Wishing aspirants well in our JCR elections tomorrow

I call on the electoral commission to ensure a seamless election exercise, aspirants to enable peace to reign, and supporters of the various aspirants to accept that this is an election to unite us yet again and not divide us.

Letter to Paradise

The theme of this poem is love. In very simple terms, it extols a woman, her beauty and virtues.
