Maazu Bayuoni, famously knows as Negus The Poet has released a poetry performance espousing the roots of him and his ancestors. The 2019 UG Student Voice of the Year extolled the valor and beautiful cultural heritage of the Sissala people. He talks about their place, in terms of economics and influence, in the ancient day Gold Coast or as earlier as the days of the Ghana empire. If you do not know much about the Sissala people, this poetry performance passes for a masterclass on who they are.
