Son eulogizes late father in an ode

Men have walked this earth. Men have been returned to the belly of the earth. But the steps of men (are) still indelible.

For a poet, there is no better way to extol a beloved one or voice their inward feelings than sing poetry. Muhammed Ridwan Rahma Sabtiu, also known as Rhid, has sung praises in honor of his late dad.

In the poem, Ridwan reminisced his boyhood and some of the life lessons his late father had left him with. He narrated the illuminating character of his dad and how luminescent he had been around his dearest and nearest.

The poem is titled, The Indelible Legendary and it was performed in English and Arabic.

I call on the electoral commission to ensure a seamless election exercise, aspirants to enable peace to reign, and supporters of the various aspirants to accept that this is an election to unite us yet again and not divide us.

Letter to Paradise

The theme of this poem is love. In very simple terms, it extols a woman, her beauty and virtues.
